Technically Abundance started as a singer with a backing band. We formed for a talent quest then got through to the nationals which saw us roadtripping welly-ward complete with aviators. Just after our gig there (our second proper gig ever) the singer decided a solo career wasn't anywhere near as fun as being in a band and so Abundance officially became a band. One year later, we are still going hard, giging and doing competitions. We are currently working on an Ep for a release next year

Acoustica is Paul Gurney (guitar & vocals), Stuart McIntyre (bass & vocals) & Erwin van Asbeck (percussion). Paul and Stuart also play in a band called, The DeSotos. Acoustica play a blend of covers and original material - most of which is on The DeSotos CD 'Cross Your Heart'.
