With his cyclonic approach and his distinctive style of hip-hop music, be prepared for the next circular storm to hit the music industry.

Karl Hamiora Thompson aka "Cyclone" was born and raised in South Auckland a community perceived for its unlawful activities. Through out his up bringing he was exposed to various criminal activities which ultimately lead to his participation in some unlawful acts, after being arrested for numerous crimes he was soon incarcerated in Mt Eden prison, while serving his sentence he thought about his lifestyle and why he was where he was.

Cyclone then began to write lyrics to express his feelings and release a lot of negative energy that was held within him. His lyrics focused on messages to his children about the good times and the bad times that he experienced growing up in South Auckland to let them know they have more choices and opportunities in life.

After his release from prison he made contact with a family member who was running his own record label "ONEMIC RECORDS" Cyclone found his passion and finally found a way to become a positive role model for his children.

He recorded his soon to be released album "PAIN ON EARTH" and his promotional mix tape "THUGARILLA" as the first artist to be released under the banner of "ONEMIC RECORDS".

Cyclone's music takes you on a whirl-wind journey through the streets of South Auckland and explains the consequences of his choices.
