DJ Jason George aka The Anglophile, is an Auckland-based Dubstep, 2Step, Sub heavy breaks and Garage DJ with a love of all things bass heavy and an aggressively risky mixing technique, in a town better known for its electro and house flavours. For over ten years he has brought his crowd pleasing styles and enthusiastic stage presence to events throughout Australia, UK and New Zealand.
Jason founded popular Auckland club nights rudeNot2, Subscape, The Dubstep Weekly and Innit showcasing rising and established talent in the UK bass genres,as well as cofounding Rewind, and has always been at the fore of bass oriented music in the Auckland club scene.
A long time resident of The Supper Club in Auckland, Jason has performed in every major Auckland club, with regular slots at Dubstep Alliance and Wheel, the 2 premier Dubstep nights in Auckland, and has supported many internationals such as Tayo, Freq Nasty, Ed Solo, Stanton Warriors, Tes la Rock and Cotti,
